The Paraty Bus terminal, where long distance buses arrive to and depart from is officially called the Terminal Rodoviário Vereador AgÃlio Ramos, but everyone locally just calls it the Rodoviaria. The terminal is located about 5 to 6 blocks from the famous Historical Centre on Rua Jango Pádua, s/n - Parque Imperial. Ph#: (24) 3371-1224. Paraty is a small town and does not have much in the way of public transport servicing the central area. Fortunately its not difficult to walk to most places within the town.

If you have heavy baggage or you are staying far from the terminal then look for the taxi rank. Taxis are expensive and for areas around the center they charge around R$20 brazilian Reals regardless of distance, for outer locations such as Jabaquara they charge around R$30. The taxis are not metered and you should fix the price in advance.
